What is RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations)?
RIDDOR places a legal duty on all employers to report “work-related deaths, major injuries or over-three-day injuries, work related diseases, and dangerous occurrences (near miss accidents)” to the enforcing authority.
A major part of this is ensuring that all people know that they are required to report all work related injuries, dangers occurrences and cases of disease and keep all relevant documents.
